For every expression of the Christian church, there is a creative, worshipful component that is as varied as the number of cultures that represent the Christian faith itself. None are without worship to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Fellowship Worship Residency invests in ministries and lives of the men and women who are called to help steward the expression of Christian worship around the world. If you are called to be a worship pastor, then this program could be a gateway to your future in serving Jesus.
Who Is This For?
Fellowship Worship Residency is for men and women who feel called to be worship leaders or pastors for the church. The person who has already determined their calling to worship leadership and serving the church will be well suited for this program.
What Are the Application Requirements?
Candidates should be high-school graduates, college degree and/or college experience is preferred. They must demonstrate a clear understanding of their calling, present a track record of previous ministry, submit two pastoral and one personal reference and provide strong video examples of their musical and vocal proficiency and worship leadership.
Who are the teachers?
This program is directed by Carl Cartee, Fellowship Bible Church, Director of Worship Development. Carl has been a worship leader, songwriter and worship pastor for over twenty years. Alongside Carl are the worship staff of Fellowship Bible Church’s world-class Worship & Arts department: Worship Pastor Aaron Blanton, Music Director, Nate Sousa, Production Director Joe Blair and Audio Production director David Mills. The Fellowship Worship Residency curriculum draws deeply on the vast experience and talent of Nashville’s music and ministry community. All of this forms a collective of some of the best creative minds the church has to offer. From songwriting, vocal and instrumental instruction, communication, to biblical and pastoral training, the environment is rich for a person to experience personal and spiritual growth.
